Stabilisation required even on a slope? No problem!
The hydraulic stabilisers of the PANORAMIC telehandlers ensure the stability necessary to operate safely even on soils with cross slope
One of Merlo’s technological innovations that enhance the value of the PANORAMIC telehandlers is represented by the hydraulic stabilisers mounted directly on the front axle rather than on the chassis, as used by other manufacturers.
The operator can position the stabilisers on the ground and control their operation independently in the way to achieve the right chassis set-up and ensure safe operation and the best performance even in places where the available space does not exceed the machine width.
Thanks to the exclusive design of the hydraulically operated parallelogram structure connecting the axle to the chassis, with a dedicated control the operator can also change the chassis level with respect to the axle, assigning it the desired transverse inclination.
The advantage of Merlo stabilisers is that, thanks to their architecture, if the transverse slope is greater than the slope they can correct autonomously, they are supported by the hydraulic frame levelling device action, thus recovering a total difference in angle of about 10 degrees.
